With 30 years of information technology experience, Ron Police is Chief Operating Officer for SAP National Security Services -Accountable for Corporate Strategy, Innovation, Investments and the Software Line of Business Profit and Loss.
Before joining SAP, Police provided advisory consulting services focused on executive coaching, sales, marketing and channel distribution strategies for commercial and government markets.
Police served for seven years as a Vice President for Apple Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of government business. At Apple, Police implemented strategies to boost revenue and profitability, spur interest in the Mac, and launched mobility solutions for use by Federal, State and Local Governments.
Prior to his work at Apple, Police spent seventeen years at Oracle Corporation, serving as Senior Vice President of Higher Education and Healthcare Sales, Senior Vice President of Sales Operations, Vice President of Applications Sales, Vice President of DoD & Intelligence Sales and Civilian Sales Manager for Oracle Service Industries. During his tenure, Police consistently received additional responsibilities and promotions for his overachievements of goals and objectives.
A 1982 graduate of Penn State, Police earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Logistics. He has completed executive education courses at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and leadership development programs at The Center for Creative Leadership in Colorado. Police is actively involved in numerous technology trade associations & nonprofits, a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and serves on the Advisory Board of Penn State’s College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST), as well as, on the Advisory Boards of several Information Technology companies.
Police and his wife Kim reside in Vienna, VA.
