Mike Ravenscroft, Director, C5 Accelerate
Mike Ravenscroft manages the day-to-day operations of the PeaceTech Accelerator in Washington, D.C. and oversees C5 Accelerate’s domestic portfolio of early stage investments. In this capacity, he works with C5’s network of mentors, partners, and investors to help its network of entrepreneurs scale their businesses. Prior to joining C5, Mike was Director of the MACH37 Cyber Accelerator and was on the Investment Team at CIT GAP Funds, a non-profit venture capital fund in Herndon, VA. While at CIT, Mike helped launch the EMERGE accelerator program on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) and Smart City Works, an accelerator for early stage companies developing technology for the built environment. Mike began his career as a Research Associate at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C. He holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MA from American University.
Ami Dalal, Vice President, FINCA Ventures
Ami Dalal is leading FINCA’s strategy to support the growth of social enterprises that improve people’s access to critical goods and services beyond access to finance. Ami is a seasoned investor with more than 15 years of principal investing experience in a range of sectors including impact investing, consumer products, infrastructure and real estate. Most recently, she was strategic adviser to Ashoka’s Social Finance Services initiative, leading a search in innovative financial mechanisms to accelerate financing for social impact. Prior to Ashoka, Ami oversaw global post-investment management at the Acumen Fund. Prior to Acumen, Ami worked at Macquarie Capital and began her career at The JBG Companies. Ami has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
Hallie Noble, Head of US FinTech Practice, Village Capital
Hallie Noble leads the Village Capital US FinTech Practice. Hallie joined the Village Capital team in 2015 as an Associate on the FinTech India Program. Prior to Village Capital, Hallie worked with the Miller Center at Santa Clara University and led scaling strategy at iMerit Technology Services, a Kolkata based technology startup. Hallie is a Clinton Fellow and has a degree in Political Science from Reed College.
Paarul Dudeja, Director of Investments, Accion
Paarul Dudeja is a Director with Accion Venture Lab, leading the team’s deal activity and portfolio engagement in India and Asia. Most recently, Paarul co-founded a healthcare education enterprise in India focused on addressing the need for technically skilled healthcare professionals. Previously, she was an Investment officer at the International Finance Corporation, investing in financial institutions to enable sustainable growth and address development challenges. Paarul has invested across the capital spectrum as an investment professional at Vinik Asset Management, a multi-billion dollar long/short hedge fund. She began her career as an investment banking analyst with Lehman Brothers and corporate valuation associate at S&P. Paarul has a bachelor of arts in Computational Finance and Economics from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Dr. Mike Tetelman, Deputy Director, FHI 360
Dr. Michael Tetelman is Deputy Director of the Global Education, Employment and Engagement (G3E) business unit at FHI 360, a global non-profit human development organization. He has close to twenty years’ experience designing and developing programs worldwide that promote economic growth and public-private partnerships, and that build and strengthen government service delivery as well as human and institutional capacity. Dr. Tetelman has designed and managed a wide range of successful public private partnerships and development programs in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia. This includes enterprise and skills development, increasing access to technology applications, strengthening linkages between higher education institutions and private industry. Dr. Tetelman currently oversees initiatives at FHI 360 relating to new business development and operations. He has written and contributed to publications relating to impact and social investing; legal, regulatory and policy reform; and increasing private sector investment in the tech sector in emerging markets. Dr. Tetelman received his undergraduate degree from Yale University, his Ph.D. from Northwestern University, and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he specialized in international business law and in alternative dispute resolution. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the Yoga Alliance.
