C’pher Gresham, Vice President of SEED SPOT Communities

Cpher Gresham, SeedSpot

A social entrepreneur, investor, and advisor to companies, C’pher has started and supported hundreds of businesses globally.

As the Vice President of Communities at SEED SPOT, C’pher leads the charge in bringing SEED SPOT’s impact to communities across the US. In this role, he works with city and state governments, family offices, venture firms, to increase the startup activity and economic growth in their respective cities. He previously served as the Phoenix Director of Entrepreneur Initiatives where he designed and ran all accelerator programming and aided companies in raising capital.

C’pher is the cofounder of Swillings Coffee, a direct-trade Colombian Coffee company supporting smallholder farms and employing individuals in rural Colombia. He serves on the advisory board of several organizations including the first coworking space in Afghanistan, the King’s College Incubator in Nepal, and on AVA School Solutions. His work internationally has been recognized by US Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton in the Congressional Record. He has lived on a 135′ tall ship in the Caribbean studying oceanography, and worked internationally in Thailand, Tunisia, and Nepal. He graduated with a B.A. from The George Washington University in Psychology with a Pre-Medicine concentration and an MBA Summa Cum Laude from the Thunderbird School of Global Management with a concentration in early-stage financing for growth companies. He has an unhealthy passion for BBQ and has a BBQ sauce recipe published by the Washington Post.

Fonta Gilliam, CEO & Co-Founder, Sou Sou

Fonta has over ten years of experience working as a U.S. Diplomat for the U.S. State Department and a Management Consultant for Deloitte Emerging Markets Practice. From 2013-2017, she served as the U.S. State Department Africa Bureau Entrepreneurship Advisor for Africa where she designed and managed entrepreneurship and small business programs for over 1,000 African millennial and women entrepreneurs. Under President Obama’s Administration, she helped lead the White House Global Entrepreneurship Summits in Morocco and Kenya. Mrs. Gilliam also managed the U.S. State Department’s first women’s entrepreneurship center program in Zambia and Kenya. Over the course of her career, Fonta managed multi-million-dollar foreign assistance programs to support innovative finance, private investment gender programming in Africa and East Asia and has personally raised over $62 million in pubic-private partnerships for the U.S. Government.

Gideon Taub is the CEO of Pinkaloo. Gideon has 9+ years experience in product management, product development, and operating experience as he helped build Videology, Inc. from a nascent company to a scaled international advertising technology company. Gideon spent a summer on Wall St. at Barclays Capital before turning his focus to technology. Gideon earned a BS in System’s Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia in 2007.

Chibueze Ihenacho has spearheaded the organization’s business development, fundraising and marketing efforts. A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Chibueze has spent the past seven years starting and leading a variety of entrepreneurial and nonprofit ventures. Through his involvement in the Atlanta, DC & Boston startup community, Chibueze has garnered a strong grassroots network of physicians, engineers, investors, & entrepreneurs committed to impacting communities and increase patient access to quality care. In summer 2016 he was recognized by Magic Johnson’s 32 Under 32 and by Entrepreneur magazine as a high-achieving inventor and entrepreneur. He’s also the recipient of Georgia Tech’s Alvin M. Ferst Leadership & Entrepreneur Award, 2017 Halcyon Fellow, and recently named a DC Top 40 Federal Entrepreneur and Innovator.
